Clearing Up the Myth About Clean Coal

This Is Reality tells a different story: while there are clean coal technologies being developed and tested at the moment, there is currently no such thing as clean coal in America.
Pollution from burning coal is a leading contributor to climate change issues in the U.S., making up a whopping 32% of the total U.S. carbon emissions. This is larger than the combined carbon emissions from gasoline and diesel transportation. Obviously, burning coal for electricity is a major challenge to climate change. So what are we waiting for? This video is great for raising awareness about the energy aspect of climate change–debunking myths about the environment is step one to finding a solution.
