Want to Know What Green Book to Read: Try Green Book Reviews

6 August 2010 26 views No Comment

An offshoot of University of Waterloo’s “Alternatives Journal”, “Green Book Reviews” launched in May, coinciding with the magazine’s annual books issue.

Alternative Journal would put out an issue featuring green books. In the last few years the “green” topic has exploded and now the magazine has opted for an alternative direction.

With a 40th anniversary just around the corner, the respected environmental publication had an eye to growing the audience, expanding online, and finding a place to showcase the ever-expanding list of print resources.

Green Book Reviews was the answer; the website carries the full archive of reviews that have appeared in print in Alternatives, which can be searched by title, author, subject and year. There is also fresh web-only content posted every week.
